I have used a CPAP for several years now. On a recent trip to Africa, I lost the nose pillow for my CPAP almost at the beginning of the trip. I didn’t have the option of buying another where I was so I just used my chinstrap. Lo and behold, the chinstrap by itself Solved my snoring and my sleep apnea. I’ve only used the chinstrap alone, without the CPAP for two months. I was delighted at my accidental discovery.
This chin strap works pretty well. It has help greatly reduce my snoring. It is soft and comfortable and it fits my large head really well. The straps stay in place just fine. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it does always stay as tight as I would like but it still works well and for something that was only $10 I won't judge it too harshly.
My sleep clinic recommended getting a chin strap to alleviate the grassiness I experienced from a cpap machine. This was more economical than the ones sold by my clinic. It did the job and helped me fall asleep. The straps stayed in place when I was sleeping. The only reason I gave it a 4 is that it can get hot wearing it.
I’ve tried a lot of chin straps over a lot of years and could never find one that works well, Until this one. Velcro on others always snagged on pillows. This one fits perfect and helps keep my trap shut while I sleep.

The only thing that I dislike, is the fact that I have to wear it. When you are an Old Woman and start snoring when you sleep, it's time to learn a couple of things. Do you know that your mouth can get so dry from snoring that your tongue can literally get stuck to the back of your throat? You can not breathe correctly nor swallow!! I learned to keep a spray bottle of water on the nightstand!!!! This item WORKS!!!!! I don't have to keep the spray bottle anymore, but it's become a habit.
I use a chinstrap to mitigate mouth breathing with my CPAP. There are many chinstraps on the market, but few fit me and work with my CPAP. Most are too big right out of the box. Other stretch right away. This one fits my smaller noggin. It does stretch but it lasts a couple of months before it is no longer functional. None of the other chin straps I've tried do this for me.
I wasn't sure about this, especially since it was cheaper than most, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is really comfortable and, thanks to the velcro, totally adjustable. I think it works. . . no one around to tell me. It didn't hinder my sleep at all.
I have had other anti snoring chin straps which were too thin and did not last long. This chin strap is by far the best I have used. The wide straps and large velcro surface area provide for a comfortable and long lasting chin strap. Highly recommended!
I came to this chin strap after trying everything else. The rest either felt rough, caused itching and sores on my chin, didn't keep my mouth closed, didn't fit right, or all of the above. This one is soft and relatively comfortable, doesn't cause sores, and lasts quite a while. Don't expect this or any chin strap to last forever - it will stretch over time and need replacement. But I've been using this product for nearly a year and can find no fault with it.
I am a CPAP user and have struggled to find a chin strap without edge seams that leave marks on my face. This one fits the bill. It does leave some marks but they are generally shallow. There are two sizes. I have a fairly large head, but the medium size fits me best. The large is enormous!
I just started snoring (55 yr old female / 124 lbs) waking myself and spouse up during the night. I used to have a SnoreMD mouthguard, but recently got Invisalign teeth retainers so had to look for an alternative. The chin strap does help keep my mouth closed for the most part. It might take a bit getting used to wearing, but I don’t find it uncomfortable. It is so important to get a good nights sleep and to breath properly through your nose. So well worth it!
This product keeps me from snoring and helps a little bit with dry mouth, however I also have a cpap machine and this strap is not the most comfortable when using both.
